The famous Cantata Alexander Nevsky op. 78, composed by Sergei Prokofiev and used by Einsentein as a soundtrack in his film from 1938, is the protagonist of this end of year concert of the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands. The repertoire includes themes of Frank Sinatra and Louis Prima, among others.
Intervening at the concert are the Conservatory Symphonic Band, together with the Capella Mallorquina, directed by José María Moreno, the Coral Harpa de Inca directed by Margalida Aguiló and Cor Pro Musica Chorus Soller, directed by Josep Alarcón.
