This sixth concert of the 2012-2013 season of the Foundation Studium Aureum is a new reading around this successful family of composers which deepens into the instrumental concerts. Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), who came from a family of six generations of musicians, had twenty children, of which five were dedicated to music.
In the program there are two of them: Carl Philipp Emanuel (1714-1788), Sinfonia WQ 177, and Wilhelm Friedemann (1710-1784), Concerto for Flute in D M. It also includes the Concerto for violin and oboe BWV 1060 by Johann Sebastian Bach.
