Directed, script and editing by Joan Martí Mir, the documentary Acorats, crònica d’un fenomen analyzes one of the theatrical events of recent years in the Balearics and Catalonia. It is Acorar, directed by Rafel Duran and interpreted by actor Joan Gomila, who also wrote the text.
Since its debut in 2011, Acorar has received several awards, including Best Actor, Director and Spectacle awarded by the Association of Public Theatres and Auditoriums of the Balearic Islands. In 2013 was nominated for the Max Awards for the Scenic Arts in the best show nomination revelation.
Through testimonies of the public, the family environment Toni Gomila and thirty interviews, the documentary invites the spectator on a trip to the origins, motivations, influences and the keys to success of a text that is called become a classic.
After the screening there will be a colloquium with Joan Martí Mir and Joan Gomila.
