2014 will mark 300 years of the birth of Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach (1714-1788), one of the most prolific suns of Johann Sebastian and considered the founder of the classical style.
This new delivery dedicated to the Bach family, in the concert season Studium Foundation Aureum, incudes the Magnificat BWV 243 and BWV 248 Christmas Oratorio (Cantata 1) by JS program Bach. A Concert for soloists, chorus and orchestra directed by Carles Ponseti.
Half an hour before the concert, the composer Mercè Pons will give a talk about the works and the German composer.
