‘9 maletes’

After the experience of Sensualitats, a poetic and musical reading directed by Antonio Calvo, Mercè Samprieto and Eduard Iniesta reappear as a tandem in this production of the Sala Muntaner of Barcelona which combines music and theater. Leading the direction and dramaturgy is Joaquim Oristrell, and Paula Bosch is responsible for the stage design.

9 maletes is a theatrical and musical game, with Eduard Iniesta's own compositions. The characters are two collectors of original letters from famous figures like Henry Miller, Marilyn Monroe, Alfonso XIII or Jack the Ripper. As the letters are opened, the personality of each of these characters will be revealed.
